Process Principle (One-Liner)

Water-based disperse (heat-transfer) ink -> printed by the printer onto the carrier (heat transfer paper) -> high-temperature pressing (200–220 degree C) -> the ink vaporizes and penetrates the fibers of the final medium -> the design “grows into” the fabric rather than being laminated on top.

Temp/time judgment logic

Golden rule: the higher the polyester content, the better the heat-transfer fit. Pure cotton, cotton blends (below 70% polyester) and natural fibers cannot be printed with disperse transfer ink (use the DTG direct-print or reactive printing route instead).
