The YD A3C is a purpose-built cylindrical UV printer: a single Epson i3200-U1 HD printhead printing CMYK + White + Varnish onto cylinders from 45 to 100 mm in diameter and 80 to 280 mm in length, at 30 seconds to 3 minutes per piece.
A precision laser scanning system models the object before printing, and a laser collision avoidance system with a metal-shell printhead guard protects the head. It handles taper up to 5° with multi-specification fixing clamps.
